Source file in Word, Latex, or Word Perfect format are also required for submission via the START system. Late submission will not be accepted. Formatting Accepted papers must be formatted according to the ACM Proceedings Format (http://www.acm.org/sigs/pubs/proceed/template.html). Page limits are 10 pages for full papers, 6 pages for short papers, and 4 pages for poster papers. The following information should be added in the copyright block at the bottom of the left column on the first page: Permission to make digital or hard copies of all or part of this work for personal or classroom use is granted without fee provided that copies are not made or distributed for profit or commercial advantage and that copies bear this notice and the full citation on the first page. To copy otherwise, to republish, to post on servers or to redistribute to lists, requires prior specific permission and/or a fee. The bibliography formatting must be conformed to the ACM Proceedings Format. Page numbers should not be added. The Categories and Subject Descriptors, General Terms and Keywords sections must be filled since the papers of ICEC 2009 will be available via the ACM digital library. Papers that fail to follow the above instructions will be removed from the proceedings without further notice. Copyright form A standard ACM Copyright Form must be filled, signed and returned for each accepted paper. Only the principal co-author needs to sign. The ACM will assume that the signing author have the authorization of the remaining co-authors. By submitting the camera-ready manuscript and copyright form, the principal author agrees to send one registered author to present the paper in ICEC 2009 Registration At least one author for each paper must register in ICEC 2009 in order to include the paper in the proceedings. Online registration will be available at ICEC conference website (http://www.icec09.org) before the camera-ready manuscript submission deadline. Papers without any author registration will be removed from the proceedings without further notice. Presentation Each paper must be presented by a registered author in the conference. The conference organizer reserves the right to remove a paper from the ACM digital library if no presentation is made.
